The NAVE, more
sober than the sanctuary, is Romanesque in its lower parts but crowned
with a Gothic arch. The crossed ogives rest lightly on the Roman capitals

The choir-stalls
were made by two craftsmen from Orléans in 1413. The choir-rail was
a gift of Cardinal Richelieu, commendatory abbot, in 1637. The monks
gather here six times every day to sing praise to God.
